Our kids all survive on air and snacks, right?

I assume everyone's kids eat this way. I swear most days they have had a package of mini muffins they got from a friend, half a yogurt, and the lemon from my water. So that's why I'm saying they survive on this and not eat.
My main goals for my kids's nutrition is try to eat foods that don’t have too many ingredients that I don’t recognize. The same way that I choose cat food, the first two to three ingredients have to be ones I feel pretty good about. Kids. They're just like cats!
I'm SURE you've already gotten our broccoli and cheese egg bite recipe from Carrie and Broc's Great Big Boogie, but here are some other things my kids survive on:
Stonyfield yogurt pouches | Evergreen waffles | Cottage cheese | Olives...all of them |
ham. just ham | any cracker you've ever heard of | all forms of cheese | cereal |
so much milk | Harvest snaps | sprinkle toast, avocado, yogurt, you name it | every fruit |
eggs in all forms | BEANS | every yogurt in the yogurt aisle | cucumber, peas, corn, broccoli |
Perfect PB bars | mac n cheese | smashed banana on waffle w/ PB | "apple donuts" - w pb frosting and...sprinkles of course |
Both my husband and I have full time jobs, so having time to prepare much more than any of these is rare. When we DO have time to prepare more than these, they absolutely don't eat whatever we cook and continue to eat this anyways.
So, why bother folks! Keep letting them eat snacks and air, and enjoy your lives. Would love to hear what food can be attributed to your child's survival!
xoxo
